Can you believe that almost a third of a child’s life at home with you is when they are young? Don’t miss out on that time together; enjoy it fully! Too often our friends tell us they will wait for their children to get a little older or have other reasons that prevent them from traveling.
There are countless excuses for not traveling with children, and we hear you. We have an entire chapter dedicated to fears and excuses, not only covering the top six excuses we hear, but throughout the book, we give complete examples of how we personally overcame our own fears and excuses. From “I will wait until my are are ___” and “Traveling with a child is expensive” to “I don’t know what I need” and “Travel is too stressful.” Believe us, we get it. It can be a lot of work— but it can also be an amazing experience.
There will never be a perfect time to travel with your child, so do it now before the opportunity passes you by. Don’t worry so much about the what ifs. Instead, seize whatever opportunities come your way for travel and adventure, regardless of age. Ditch the excuses you may have and do it now!
Learn how to seize the opportunity today and live your travel dreams in our book, How To Travel With Kids (Without Losing Your Mind).
